Ar Ruthiane ceiling fan. The Ar Ruthiane's unique hourglass support arms grasp bullet shaped motor housings, which rotate about its teardrop center. At 180 '' in diameter, the Ar Ruthiane is Matthews' most substantial fan. The motor head can be infinitely positioned in a 180-degree arc for optimum air movement; the greater the angle of the motor to the horizontal support rods (up or down ) , the faster the axial rotation. A slow, controlled axial rotation is achieved by both motor head position and fan blade speed . The Ar Ruthiane is available in polished chrome, brushed nickel, polished copper .
- Matthews rotational fans circulate heat and air conditioning more efficiently than do traditional paddle fans. - Constructed of cast aluminum, heavy spun and stamped steel, Matthews fans carries a limited lifetime warranty. - The Ar Ruthiane is equipped with either metal blades and metal blade guards or solid ecologically harvested mahogany blades without blade guards. - Each unique motor mount and fan head knob is made of genuine marbleized Bakelite.
